I FOR AERATED LAGOON MODIFICATION PROJECT, DIVISION I--FLOATING MECHANICAL,AERATORS WHEREAS, The City Council of Fairfax, Iowa has contracted with Aeration Industries International, Inc. for the construction of the Aerated Lagoon Modification Project, Division I-Floating Mechanical Aerators, within the corporate limits; and WHEREAS, The city engineers, Hall and Hall Engineers, Inc. have recommended Change Order No. 1 for an increase of$0.00, to substitute 5 HP standard efficiency motors for 5 HP high efficiency motors, substitute tri-float assemblies for two pontoon floatation assemblies, provide all steel parts with hot dipped galvanizing and increase warranty from two years to three years. BE IT RESOLVED, To approve Change Order No, 1 for the Aerated Lagoon Modification Project, Division I-Floating Mechanical Aerators, which will result in an increase of$0.00 to make a total contract cost amount of$39,300.00. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, By the Fairfax City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, that the Mayor and City Cleric are hereby authorized and directed to execute said Resolution.
