A RESOLTION APPROVING SCHEDULE OF BUILDING PERMIT FEES
BE IT RESOLVED, By the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, that
effective September 12, 20016 the following Schedule of Building Permit Fees be used to
determine fees for building permits, using the total valuation of the project for which a
permit is being sought.
SCHEDULE OF BUILDING PERMIT FEES
TOTAL EVALUATION PERMIT FEE
$1.00 to$500.00 $25.00
$1,001.00 to$1,500.00 $45.00
$2,001.00 to$25,000.00 $55.00 for the first$2,000.00 plus'.$9,00 for each additional$1,000.00 or
fraction thereof,to and including,$25,000.00

6. Plan Review Fees for Industrial & Commercial Properties. When a plan 40%of permit fee
or other data is required to be submitted,a plan review fee shall be paid at the
time of submitting plans and specifications for review. Said plan review fee
shall be forty percent (40%) of the building permit fee as shown in the
Schedule of Building Permit Fees.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, By the Fairfax City
Council of the City of Fairfax., Iowa, that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed to execute said Resolution.
