RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO.2 TO KLEIMAN
CONSTRUCTION,INC. FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE NEW MECHANICAL
WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILITY, 2006 WASTEWATER TREATMENT
PLANT IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, The City Council of Fairfax, Iowa has contracted with Kleiman
Construction Co., Inc. for the construction of the new mechanical wastewater treatment facility,
2006 Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements,within the corporate limits; and
WHEREAS, Hall and Hall Engineers, Inc., has recommended Change Order No. 2 to
Kleiman Construction, Inc., as per the attached document, with a net increase in Contract Price
of$4,448.07 for a total revised Contract Amount of$2,064,162,72,
BE IT RESOLVED, By the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, to approve
Change Order No. 2 for the construction of the new mechanical wastewater treatment facility,
2006 Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, By the Fairfax City Council
of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, that the Mayor and the acting City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute said Resolution.
Passed and approved this 28th day of November, 2006.
