A RESOLUTION ACCEPTNG THE IMPROVEMENTS IN PRAIRIE VIEW
HEIGHTS ADDITION PHASE ONE AND APPROVING THE LETTER OF
CREDIT SUBMITTED BY GORDON SEVIG FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF
THE IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, The construction of improvements in Prairie View Heights, Phase
One to Fairfax, Iowa, was authorized by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, Said improvements have been completed; and
WHEREAS, The City Engineer has recommended the acceptance of said
improvements; and
WHEREAS, Gordon Sevig has submitted a Letter of Credit in the amount of
$75,000.00 to provide financial security for the maintenance period of 2 years for said
improvements.
BE IT RESOLVED, By the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, that
improvements in Prairie View Heights Addition, Phase One be and the same are hereby
accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Letter of
Credit submitted by Gordon. Sevig in the amount of$75,000 be retained for two years for
the maintenance of said improvements.
