RESOLUTION APPROVING CITY OF FAIRFAX ANNUAL BUDGET FOR
FISCAL YEAR 2007-2008
WHEREAS, The Code of Iowa, Chapter 384, Section 16, requires that all cities
prepare and adopt an Annual Budget of expenditures and receipts for at least the next
fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, The clerk shall certify the necessary tax levy for the next fiscal year
to the County Auditor.
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED,By the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa:
Section 1. The Council has reviewed all forms required by
this report and found them to be in compliance
with the requirements of the Iowa Code.
Section 2. The City Cleric is directed to submit these farms to
the Linn County Auditor on or before March 15, 2007.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, By the City Council of
Fairfax, Iowa that the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to
execute said Resolution.
