RESOLUTION REGARDING DENIAL OF CHANGE ORDER NO. 4 TO
KLEIMAN CONSTRUCTION,INC. FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE NEW
MECHANICAL WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILITY, 2006
WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, The City Council of Fairfax, Iowa has contracted with Kleiman.
Construction Co., Inc. for the construction of the new mechanical wastewater treatment
facility, 2006 Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements, within the corporate limits;
and
WHEREAS, Hall and Hall Engineers, Inc., has recommended the denial of
Change Order No. 4 Kleiman.Construction, Inc., for dewatering the clarifiers.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Iowa, to deny Change Order No. 4 for the construction of the new mechanical
wastewater treatment facility, 2006 Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements, which
will result in no increase to the contract.
