A RESOLUTION TO ISSUE PARTIAL PAYMENT#9 TO KLEIMAN
CONSTRUCTION,INC. FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE NEW
MECHANICAL WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILITY, 2006
WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, The City of Fairfax, Iowa has contracted with Kleiman
Construction, Inc. for the construction of the new mechanical wastewater treatment
facility, 2006 Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements; and
WHEREAS, The City engineers, Hall & Hall Engineers, Inc. has reviewed
Kleiman Construction, Inc."s Partial Pay Request No. 9 for work through 3-31-07 and
have found it to be in accordance with their Schedule of Values and work completed to
date and has, therefore, recommended payment of$103,525.30 on the Contract for 2006
Wastewater Treatment Plant.Improvements,
BE IT RESOLVED, By the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Fairfax, Iowa,
that the City Clerk is hereby directed to issue Partial Payment No. 9 in the amount of
$1.03,525.30 to Kleiman Construction, Inc. for the construction of the new mechanical
wastewater treatment facility, 2006 Wastewater Treatment.Plant Improvements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, By the Fairfax City
Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed to execute said.Resolution.
