RESOLUTION REGARDING CHANGE ORDER NO. 7 TO KLEIMAN
CONSTRUCTION,INC,FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE NEW
MECHANICAL WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILITY, 2006 WASTEWATER
TREATMENT PLANT IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, The City Council of Fairfax, Iowa, Inas contracted with Kleiman
Construction Co., Inc, for the construction of the new mechanical wastewater treatment
facility, 2006 Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements, within the corporate limits; and
WHEREAS, Hall and ball Engineers, Inc., has recommended Change Order No. 7'
(Kleiman CO #15) Kleiman Construction, Inc. to provide for the installation of relays at the
bio-solids and water return pumps to monitor for and provide automatic shutdown for
overheating and to provide a warning light for a seal leak.
BE IT RESOLVED, By the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, to approve
Change Order No. 7 for the construction of the new mechanical wastewater treatment
facility, 2006 Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements, which will result in an increase of
$963.08, as reflected in the attached schedule.
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,By the City Council of the
City of Fairfax, Iowa, that the Mayor and City Clerk are her by authorized and directed to
execute said Resolution.
