RESOLUTION REGARDING CHANGE ORDER NO. 3 TO RICKLEFS
EXCAVATING, LTD FOR THE 2006 SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM
IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, The City Council of Fairfax, Iowa has contracted with Ricklef
Excavating, LTD for the 20,016 Sanitary Sewer System Improvements; and
WHEREAS, Hall & Hall Engineers, Inc. has recommended Change Order No. 3
to Ricklefs Excavating, LTD for additional depth required for two (2) sanitary sewer
manholes, over-excavation of sanitary sewer trench and additional handling of extra
material ($23.00/LF of sewer trench for 717 LF).
BE IT RESOLVED, By the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, to approve
Change Order No. 3 for the 2006 Sanitary Sewer System. Improvements, which will
result in an increase of$17,843.43, as per the attached schedule.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, By the City Council of
the City of Fairfax, Iowa, that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute said Resolution.
