RESOLUTION NO. 2008-50
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE 2006 SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM
IMPROVEMENTS AND ISSUING FINAL PAYMENT NO. 10 TO RICKLEFS
EXCAVATING,LTD
WHEREAS, The City of Fairfax, Iowa, entered into a contract with Ricklefs Excavating,
LTD for the construction of the 2.006 Sanitary Sewer System Improvements; and
WHEREAS, Hall & Fall Engineers, Inc. has certified that said project has now been
completed in substantial compliance with the plans and specifications.
BE IT RESOLVED, By the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, that the 2006
Sanitary Sewer System Improvements, constructed by Ricklefs Excavating, LTD, is hereby
accepted and the City Clerk is hereby directed to issue final Payment No. 10 in the amount of
$39,965.78 to Ricklefs Excavating, LTD, after 30 (thirty) days have elapsed from the date of
acceptance if no claims against project are filed.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, By the City Council of the
City of Fairfax, Iowa, that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to
execute said Resolution.
