RESOLUTION NO. 2008-53
RESOLUTION SETTING PUBLIC HEARING FOR AN ORDINANCE GRANTING
FRANCHISE TO INTERSTATE POWER AND LIGHT COMPANY
WHEREAS, The City of Fairfax wishes to pass an ordinance to renew the franchise
agreement with Interstate Power:and Light Company for another twenty-five (25) year term.
BE IT RESOLVED, That the Fairfax City Council does hereby set the date of Tuesday,
December 9, 2008, at 7:00 PM, or soon thereafter, for a Public Hearing for the purpose of public
input on the Ordinance granting franchise to Interstate Power and Light Company.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, By the City Council of the
City of Fairfax, Iowa, that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to
execute said Resolution.
