RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. I FOR THE
EAST DRAINAGE WAY PROJECT ON EAST CEMETERY ROAD
WHEREAS, The City Council of Fairfax, Iowa has contracted with Arensdorf
Excavating & Trucking, Inc, for the East Drainage Way Project on East Cemetery Road,
within the corporate limits, and
WHEREAS, Hall .and Hall Engineers, Inc., has recommended approval of
Change Order No. 1 for a decrease of $6,979.70, to replace 4,130 S.F. of Class A.
Revetment (2.0' thick layer) at $7.50/S.F. with 4,130 S.F. of Class E Revetment (2.0'
thick layer) at $5.81/S.F. for a unit price savings of$1.69/S.F. and a total project savings
of$6,979.70.
BE IT RESOLVED,By the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa,to approve
Change Order No. 1 for the East Drainage Way Project on East Cemetery Road, which
will result in a decrease of $6,979.70 to make a revised total construction contract cost
amount of$163,029.02.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, By the Fairfax City
Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed to execute said Resolution.
