RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO.3 FOR THE
EAST DRAINAGE WAY PROJECT ON EAST CEMETERY ROAD
WHEREAS, The City Council of Fairfax, Iowa has contracted with Arensdorf'
Excavating & Trucking, Inc. for the East Drainage Way Project on East Cemetery Road,
within the corporate limits; and
WHEREAS, Hall and Hall Engineers, Inc., has recommended approval of
Change Order No. 3, Item #I for a decrease of$7,300.00, to remove Item No. 26 — seal
coat, dual application from the contract and Item#2 for an increase of$5,444.80 to install
656 LF of 6 inch diameter perforated drain tile @ $8.301L.F., including 2 perforated
standpipes, clean stone, and filter fabric which are incidental to the drain tile.
BE IT RESOLVED,By the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, to approve
Change Order No. 3 for the East Drainage Way Project on East Cemetery Road, which.
will result in a decrease of$1,855.20 to make a revised total construction contract cost
amount of$161,173.82.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, By the Fairfax City
Council of the City of Fairfax,Iowa, that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed to execute said.Resolution.
