RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER.NO. 1 FOR THE
WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT PROGRAM,PHASE I IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, The City Council of Fairfax, Iowa has contracted with Rathje
Construction Co. for the Water Main Replacement Program, Phase I Improvements,
within the corporate limits; and
WHEREAS, Hall and Hall Engineers, Inc., has recommended approval of
Change Order No. 1, to increase the contract amount $25,600.00 to furnish and install
eight new fire hydrants with six inch gate valves and assemblies.
BE IT RESOLVED,by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, to approve
Change Order No. 1 for the Water Main Replacement Program, Phase I Improvements
which will result in an increase of $25,600.00 to make a revised total construction
contract cost amount of$269,328.65.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Fairfax City
Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed to execute said resolution.
