RESOLUTION NO. 2010-29
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF
FUNDS FOR THE LIBRARY AND FIRE DEPARTMENT
2010-2011 FISCAL YEAR END BALANCES
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax is responsible for the funds accounting for the Fairfax Public
Library and the Fairfax Fire and Rescue Department; and
WHEREAS, there are end of the fiscal year transfers that need to be made to balance their
funds into the appropriate accounts; and
WHEREAS, the city clerk/treasurer will be able to determine the needed transfers just before
the end of the fiscal year, which ends on June 30, 2011.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa,
that the city clerk/treasurer is instructed to compile a report listing these needed end of the fiscal year
transfers and then attach the report to this Resolution as well as supplying a copy of the report to the
Fairfax City Council at their first meeting of the new fiscal year.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the city clerk/treasurer is hereby instructed to make
these necessary transfers as will be listed on the report in order to place the library and fire department
funds in the appropriate accounts no later than June 30, 2011.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, that the
Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute said Resolution.
