RESOLUTION NO. 2011-18
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF THE FUND BALANCE FROM
THE EMPLOYEE BENEFITS FUND TO THE GENERAL FUND
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, previously levied for
employee benefits; and
WHEREAS, these funds are to be used for general fund payroll expenses; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax is not currently levying for these funds and is not
proposing to do so for the next fiscal year’s budget, and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk/Treasurer is recommending that the City of Fairfax transfer
the balance of the employee benefits fund to the general fund for general fund payroll expenses.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax,
Iowa, that the City Clerk/Treasurer is directed to make this recommended transfer.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed to execute said Resolution.
