RESOLUTION TO ISSUE PARTIAL PAYMENT #1 TO DAVE
SCHMITT CONSTRUCTION CO. FOR THE WATER MAIN
REPLACEMENT PROGRAM, PHASE III IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS,the City Council of Fairfax, Iowa has contracted with Dave Schmitt
Construction Co. for the Water Main Replacement Program, Phase III Improvements,
within the corporate limits; and
WHEREAS, Hall and Hall Engineers, Inc., has recommended approval of
Application for Payment No. 1 from Dave Schmitt Construction Co., for a current
payment due of$69,662.08.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Iowa, to approve the Application for Payment No. 1 from Dave Schmitt
Construction Co. for the Water Main Replacement Program, Phase III Improvements and
issue a check for$69,662.08.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Fairfax City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Iowa, that the Mayor and City Clerk/Treasurer are hereby authorized and
• directed to execute said resolution.
