• RESOLUTION APPROVING WAGES FOR FAIRFAX
FIRE AND RESCUE DEPARTMENT MEMBERS
WHEREAS,the City of Fairfax recognizes the contributions made by the members of the
Fairfax Fire and Rescue Department; and
WHEREAS, during the November 8, 2011 city council meeting, the City Council reviewed the
current wage rates for the Fairfax Fire and Rescue Department's members; and
WHEREAS,the members of the Fairfax Fire and Rescue Department are paid annually for
service from December 1 to the following November 30, with the checks issued in December.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,the wages are set for the Fairfax Fire and Rescue
Department members as listed below as of December 1, 2010:
All Members $5.00 per call attended
The Fairfax Fire and Rescue have leadership positions as listed below. The following positions will be
paid these listed amounts in addition to the $5.00 per call.
Fire Chief $2,000.00 per year, effective December 1, 2010
Assistant Chief $100.00 per year, effective December 1, 2010
• Assistant Chief $100.00 per year, effective December 1, 2010
Captain $100.00 per year, effective December 1, 2010
Lieutenant $100.00 per year, effective December 1, 2010
Lieutenant $100.00 per year, effective December 1, 2010
Secretary $100.00 per year, effective December 1, 2010
Medical Officer $100.00 per year, effective December 1, 2010
Training Officer $100.00 per year, effective December 1, 2010
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, that the
Mayor and City Clerk/Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to execute said Resolution.
