RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 FROM
SEYDEL CONSTRUCTION FOR THE FAIRFAX PARK BUILDING PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City Council of Fairfax, Iowa has contracted with Seydel
Construction for the Fairfax Park Building Project, within the corporate limits; and
WHEREAS, Design Dynamics, Inc., has recommended approval of Change
Order No. 2 from Seydel Construction. The original contract amount was $318,500.00.
This Change Order No. 2 is making the following listed change in the contract for an
increase of $787.50. The final revised contract amount with both Change Orders No 1
and 2 is $320,631.50.
• Installation of 2" foam insulation to be supplied and placed along the
inside of the foundation wall at the perimeter of the main structure (25 4'
by 8' sheets).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Iowa, to approve Change Order No. 2 from Seydel Construction for the Fairfax
Park Building Project.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Fairfax City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Iowa, that the Mayor and City Clerk/Treasurer are hereby authorized and
directed to execute said resolution.
