RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS TO PRAIRIE CREEK
ESTATES SIXTH ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, LINN COUNTY, IOWA
WHEREAS, Hall and Hall Engineers, Inc. has performed part-time field observations
during the installation of the public improvements, reviewed material test reports, and has
completed a final site inspection of the public facilities, and Hall and Hall Engineers, Inc.
recommends acceptance of these public improvements with the following conditions:
1. The site is seeded and maintained with an acceptable, long lasting cover crop to prevent
soil erosion from this site.
2. An acceptable 4-year maintenance bond is submitted to the City for the street pavement
and all other public utilities within the Prairie Creek Estates Sixth Addition; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax,
Iowa, that the public improvements in Prairie Creek Estates Fifth Addition to the City of Fairfax,
Linn County, Iowa are accepted by the City of Fairfax with the following conditions:
1. The site is seeded and maintained with an acceptable, long lasting cover crop to prevent
soil erosion from this site.
2. An acceptable 4-year maintenance bond is submitted to the City for the street pavement
and all other public utilities within the Prairie Creek Estates Sixth Addition; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of Fairfax, Iowa, that the Mayor
and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute said Resolution.
