RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CHANGE ORDER NO. 6 FROM
• SEYDEL CONSTRUCTION FOR THE FAIRFAX PARK BUILDING PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City Council of Fairfax, Iowa has contracted with Seydel
Construction for the Fairfax Park Building Project, within the corporate limits; and
WHEREAS, Design Dynamics, Inc., has recommended approval of Change
Order No. 6 from Seydel Construction. The current contract amount is $324,814.32.
This Change Order No. 6 is making the following listed change in the contract for an
increase of $440.00. The final revised contract amount with Change Order No 6 is
$325,254.32.
The following changes were requested by the City of Fairfax:
• Add for Insulation at two 8 x 8 sectional doors +240.00
• Add for Insulation at 12 x 8 sectional door +160.00
• Sub Total +400.00
• GC OH&P +40.00
• NET TOTAL INCREASE +440.00
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Iowa, to approve Change Order No. 6 from Seydel Construction for the Fairfax
• Park Building Project.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Fairfax City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Iowa, that the Mayor and City Clerk/Treasurer are hereby authorized and
directed to execute said resolution.
