• RESOLUTION TO NOT APPROVE CHANGE ORDER NO. 8 FROM
SEYDEL CONSTRUCTION FOR THE FAIRFAX PARK BUILDING PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City Council of Fairfax, Iowa has contracted with Seydel
Construction for the Fairfax Park Building Project, within the corporate limits; and
WHEREAS, Design Dynamics, Inc., has received Change Order No. 8 from
Seydel Construction. This request concerned additional costs to install an alternate mop
sink due to the fact that the one specified does not fit in the area.
WHEREAS, the City Council of Fairfax does not feel that the City should be
responsible for any additional costs due to this error, Change Order No. 8 will not be
approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Iowa, to not approve Change Order No. 8 from Seydel Construction for the
Fairfax Park Building Project.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Fairfax City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Iowa, that the Mayor and City Clerk/Treasurer are hereby authorized and
directed to execute said resolution.
