• RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CHANGE ORDER NO. 9 FROM
SEYDEL CONSTRUCTION FOR THE FAIRFAX PARK BUILDING PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City Council of Fairfax, Iowa has contracted with Seydel
Construction for the Fairfax Park Building Project, within the corporate limits; and
WHEREAS, Design Dynamics, Inc., has recommended approval of Change
Order No. 9 from Seydel Construction. The current contract amount is $325,254.32.
This Change Order No. 9 is making the following listed change in the contract for an
increase of $44.10. The final revised contract amount with Change Order No 9 is
$325,298.42.
The following changes were requested by the City of Fairfax:
• Change door locks on three sectional doors as requested by Lynn Miller and
Mayor Rabe for an additional $44.10.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Iowa, to approve Change Order No. 9 from Seydel Construction for the Fairfax
Park Building Project.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Fairfax City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Iowa, that the Mayor and City Clerk/Treasurer are hereby authorized and
IPdirected to execute said resolution.
