• RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 3 - BALANCING
FOR THE PHASE III WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT, WATER MAIN
AND SANITARY SEWER SERVICE EXTENSIONS, AND GRANULAR
PARKING LOT IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, The City Council of Fairfax, Iowa has contracted with Dave Schmitt
Construction Company, Inc. for the Phase III Water Main Replacement, Water Main and
Sanitary Sewer Service Extensions, and Granular Parking Lot Improvements, within the
corporate limits; and
WHEREAS, Hall and Hall Engineers, Inc., has recommended approval of Change Order
No. 3-Balancing.
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, to approve
Change Order No. 3-Balancing for the Phase III Water Main Replacement, Water Main and
Sanitary Sewer Service Extensions, and Granular Parking Lot Improvements for a construction
contract cost amount of$266,096.06.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,by the Fairfax City Council of
the City of Fairfax, Iowa, that the Mayor and City Clerk/Treasurer are hereby authorized and
directed to execute said resolution.
