A RESOLUTION TO ADOPT A REVISED COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AND FUTURE
LAND USE MAP FOR THE CITY OF FAIRFAX
WHEREAS, the Fairfax Planning and Zoning Commission and Fairfax City Council
have reviewed the current Fairfax Comprehensive Plan and Future Land Use Map; and
WHEREAS, the Fairfax Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended adoption
of a revised Fairfax Comprehensive Plan and Future Land Use Map; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax has advertised a public hearing regarding the adoption
of a revised Fairfax Comprehensive Plan and Future Land Use Map; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax has held a public hearing regarding the adoption of a
revised Fairfax Comprehensive Plan and Future Land Use Map on April 9, 2013.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Fairfax does hereby adopt
a revised Fairfax Comprehensive Plan and Future Land Use Map as recommended by the Fairfax
Planning and Zoning.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, that
the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to certify this resolution of adoption and see that
copies of the revised Fairfax Comprehensive Plan and Future Land Use Map are distributed to
other entities as required by the Code of Iowa.
