RESOLUTION SETTING PUBLIC HEARING: CONCERNING ADOPTING AN
UPDATED ZONING MAP AND AMENDING THE ZONING: CODE FOR THE CITY OF
FAIRFAX
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax has a current Zoning Map that has been approved by the
Fairfax Planning and Zoning and the Fairfax City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax asked Hall and Hall Engineers to update the Zoning
Map with address corrections and the zoning changes since the map's last adoption date; and
WHEREAS, the :planning and Zoning has recommended changes to Section 1.07.F.C1A:
Neighborhood Commercial ,District; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax is required to hold a hearing concerning adopting an
updated Zoning Map and making an amendment to the Fairfax Zoning Code; and
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the public hearing concerning adopting
an updated Zoning Map and amending the Zoning Code for the City of Fairfax, Iowa, shall be
held at the city council meetingon Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at 7:00 PM at the Fairfax City
Hall at 525 Vanderbilt Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, that
the Mayor and City Clerk/Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
Resolution.
