A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax has operational transfers that are required to be made;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, wishes to make the needed
transfers; and
WHEREAS, the city clerk/treasurer has submitted the: following list of the transfers
needed.
Section 1. Farm Operations Fund to the General. Fund:
a. Transfer Order: $11,269.89 for the old concession stand repairs.
Section 2. Local Option Sales Tax Fund(sewer improvements purpose) to the General Fund:
a. Transfer Order: $30,224.09 for sewer system improvements in Phase I East
Cemetery Improvements Project from the 04 Local Option Sales Tax to close
out this remaining balance.
Section 3. Debt Service Fund bond proceeds to General Fund:
a. Transfer Order: $1,338,645.00 for the Phase 2 East Cemetery Road
Improvements Project and the Trail Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax,
Iowa,that the city clerk/treasurer is directed to make these recommended transfers.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk/Treasurer are hereby
authorized and directed to execute said resolution.
