RESOLUTION SETTING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC
HEARING FOR THE PURPOSE OF SOLICITING WRITTEN AND
ORAL COMMENTS ON A REZONING REQUEST
WHEREAS, the Gordon Sevig is requesting a zoning change from 9RS: Single
Family Residential District to 4RM: Multiple-Family Residential at Lot 148, Prairie
View Estates—Part Two to Fairfax, Iowa; and.
WHEREAS, Iowa Code requires a public hearing concerning rezoning of this
property; and j
WHEREAS, interested residents or taxpayers having conunents for or against the
proposed rezoning may appear and be heard at the public hearing at the city council
meeting on April 8, 2014, at 7:00 PM at the Fairfax City Hall, at 525 Vanderbilt Street,
Fairfax, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Iowa, that this confirms that the city council order the publication of a notice of
public hearing pertaining to this rezoning request on behalf of the City of Fairfax,.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Fairfax. City Council of the City, of
Fairfax, Iowa, that the Mayor and City Clerk/Treasurer' are hereby authorized and
directed to execute said resolution.
