RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PROPOSAL FOR CONSTRUCTION
TESTING SERVICES FOR THE FAIRFAX TRAIL PROJECT ALONG EAST
SIDE OF UNNAMED TRIBUTARY TO PRAIRIE CREEK,IDOT PROJECT
NUMBER STP-E-2462(601) FROM TERRACON CONSULTANTS INC.
WHEREAS, the City Council of Fairfax, Iowa has contracted for a trail project;
and
WHEREAS, the IDOT is a partner in this trail project and they require
construction,testing; and
WHEREAS, Hall and Hall Engineers, Inc. has recommended approval of a
proposal for construction testing services for this trail project from Terracon Consultants,
Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Iowa, that the City of Fairfax accepts this proposal for construction testing
services from Terracon Consultants, Inc. during the construction of about 1566 lineal feet
of new PCC trail for the following:
PCC Plant Monitoring
• Concrete Strength Testing
+� Project Management of these services
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Fairfax City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Iowa, that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to
execute this resolution of approval.
