RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PROPOSAL FOR VIBRATION
MONITORING FOR THE FAIRFAX TRAIL PROJECT ALONG EAST SIDE OF
UNNAMED TRIBUTARY TO PRAIRIE CREEK, IDOT PROJECT NUMBER
STP-E-2462(601)FROM BRAUN INTERTEC
WHEREAS, the City Council of Fairfax, Iowa has contracted for a trail project;
and
WHEREAS, the trail prqject has a bridge and there will be some vibrations due
to pile driving acitvities duringthe construction of the bridge; and
WHEREAS, Hall and Hall Engineers, Inc. has recommended vibration
monitoring during the construction of the bridge and recomn3ended that the City hire
Braun Intertee for this monitoring.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Iowa, that the City of Fairfax accepts a cost estimate from Braun Intertee for
$1,224.00 for vibration monitoring during the trail bridge construction.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Fairfax City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Iowa, ttaat the Mayor and City Clergy; are hereby authorized. and directed to
execute this resolution of approval.
