RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE PLAT OF SURVEY NO. 1932 IN THE EAST
OF THE WEST V2 OF SECTION 16, TOWNSHIP 82 NORTH, RANGE 8 WEST IN
LINN COUNTY, IOWA
WHEREAS, a Plat of Survey No. 1932 has been submitted to the City of Fairfax from the Cedar
Rapids and Iowa City Railway (CRANDIC); and
WHEREAS, Hall and Hall Engineers, Inc. has reviewed said Plat of Survey No. 1932 and has
recommended approval this Plat of Survey No. 1932 with the following condition:
That the CRANDIC dedicate 40' half street R.O.W. in Fee Title by Quitclaim for Williams Blvd.
adjacent to the proposed Parcel B, P.O.S. No. 193.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, that
the Plat of Survey No. 1932 in the East V-z of the West 1/2 of Section 16,Township 82 North, Range 8 West, in
Linn County, Iowa, is hereby acknowledged and approved on the part of the City of Fairfax, Linn County,
Iowa.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of Fairfax, Iowa, that the Mayor and the City
Clerk/Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to execute said Resolution.

approval as requested by Cedar Rapids and Iowa City Railway (GRANDIC) for the following described
property:

Located in the East'/2 of the West'/2 of Section 16, Township 82 North, Range 8 West in Linn
County, Iowa
CONDITIONS
1, That CRANDIC dedicate 40' half street R.O.W. (includes the existing 33.00' Easement R.O.W)
in Fee Title by Quitclaim for Williams Blvd. adjacent to the proposed Parcel B, P.O.S. No. 1932.
I/We specifically agree to protect, defend and hold the City of Fairfax harmless from any and all
damages or claims for damages that might arise or accrue by reason of the granting of this Site Plan
approval. This agreement shall be binding upon the current owner(s) as well as future owners, heirs,
legal representatives, successors, and assigns.
