RESOLUTION NO. 2014-89
RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CHANGE ORDER NO. S FROM
RATHJ {" CONSTRUCTION, CO. FOR THE PHASE 2 EAST CEMETERY ROAN(
STREET RECONSTRUCTION, TRAIL, AND DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS
PROJECT IN THE CITY OF FAIRFAX,LINK COUNTY, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City Council of Fairfax, Iowa has contracted with Rathje
Construction Co. for the Phase 2 East Cemetery Road Street Reconstruction, Trial, and
Drainage Improvements Projiect within the corporate limits; and
WHEREAS, Hall and Hall Engineers, Inc., has recommended approval of
Change Order 95 no change in the contract price, as described below:
CHANGES IN SCHEDULE':
The Contract Completion Date of 75 Working Days is increased to 78.5 Working Days
due to additional work added) (beyond the original scope of the construction contract.
CHANGES IN CONTRACT AMOUNT: None
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Iowa, to approve Change Order No. 5 from Ratlije Construction Co. for the
Phase 2 East Cemetery Road Street Reconstruction, Trial, and Drainage Improvements
Project for no change in,the contract amount of$968,642.88.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Fairfax City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Iowa, that the Mayor and City Clerk/Treasurer are hereby authorized and
directed to execute said resolution.
