RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS FOR
THE MEADOW OAK ADDITION, LOT 148 OF PRAIRIE VIEW
ESTATES, PART TWO TO THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, LINN
COUNTY, IOWA
WHEREAS, Hall and Hall Engineers, Inc. has performed part-time field
observations during the installation of the public improvements, reviewed material test
reports, and has completed a final, site inspection of the public facilities, and Hall and
Hall Engineers, 'hic. recommends acceptance of these public improvements with the
following conditions:
1. The Developer provides acceptable 4-year maintenance bonds for the public
improvements prior to a second Temporary Certificate of Occupancy for the
development.
2. The northerly most fire hydrant be raised to allow for proper access and connections
to fire equipment prior to issuance of a Final Certificate of Occupancy.
3. All water valve easings be adjusted to snatch final grade prior to issuance of a Final
Certificate of Occupancy.
4. All backfill be completed on sanitary sewer trenches and compacted per Cedar
Rapids Metropolitan Construction Specifications prior to issuance of a Final
Certificate of Occupancy.
5. All erosion control devices set up and maintained throughout the construction
duration.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Iowa, that the public improvements in Meadow Oak Addition, Lot 148 of Prairie
View Estates,Part Two to the City of Fairfax, Linn County, Iowa are accepted by the City
of Fairfax with the following conditions:

BE IT FURTHER. RESOLVED, by the City Council of Fairfax, Iowa, that the
Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute said Resolution.
