A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax has operational transfers that are required to be made;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, wishes to make the needed
transfers; and
WHEREAS, the city clerk/treasurer has submitted the following list of the transfers
needed.
Section 1. Farm Operations Fund to the General Fund:
a. Transfer Order: $24,451.65 for the Driftwood Lane Park expenses.
Section 2. Debt Service Fund to the following list of various funds:
b. Transfer Order: $2,046,000 from the Debt Service Fund to transfer net debt
proceeds to the proper funds.
® $57,000 to the General Fund for warning sirens and poles
• $515,000 to the General bund for a new lire truck:
• $100,000 to the General Fund.for development planning
* $200,000 to the General Fund for the Vanderbilt Street.project
® $879,000 to the Water Fund for Water Main.Phases 2, 4, and 5
• $295,.000 to the Sewer Fund for the U-V Project
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax,
Iowa,that the city clerk/treasurer is directed to make these recommended transfers.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk/Treasurer are hereby
authorized and directed to execute said resolution.
