RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT FOR
SOBASKI'S SECOND ADDITION IN THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, LINN COUNTY,
IOWA
WHEREAS, a Final Plat of Sobaski's Second Addition in the City of Fairfax, Linn County, Iowa, a
Replat of Lots 1, 2, and Outlot A of Sobaski's Addition in the City of Fairfax, Linn County, Iowa has been
submitted to the City of Fairfax by Sobaski Real Estate L.L.C.; and
WHEREAS, a development agreement has been established between Sobaski Real Estate, L.L.C. and
the City of Fairfax as part of the Final Plat bound documents of Sobaski's Second Addition in the City of
Fairfax, Linn County, Iowa, a Replat of Lots 1, 2, and Outlot A of Sobaski's Addition in the City of Fairfax,
Linn County, Iowa; and
WHEREAS, Hall and Hall Engineers, Inc. has reviewed said development agreement for the Final
Plat of Sobaski's Second Addition in the City of Fairfax, Linn County, Iowa, a Replat of Lots 1, 2, and Outlot
A of Sobaski's Addition in the City of Fairfax, Linn County, Iowa, and has recommended that the City of
Fairfax execute said development agreement; and
WHEREAS, Hall and Hall Engineers, Inc. has reviewed said Final Plat of Sobaski's Second Addition
in the City of Fairfax, Linn County, Iowa, a Replat of Lots 1, 2, and Outlot A of Sobaski's Addition in the City
of Fairfax, Linn County, Iowa, dated February 4, 2016, and has found said Final Plat to be in accordance with
the provisions of the laws of the State of Iowa and the ordinances of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, in relation to
the related development within the City of Fairfax, and has further recommended approval of said Final Plat.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa,that the
development agreement for Sobaski's Second Addition in the City of Fairfax, Linn County, Iowa be executed,
and that the Final Plat of Sobaski's Second Addition in the City of Fairfax, Linn County, Iowa, a Replat of
Lots 1, 2, and Outlot A of Sobaski's Addition in the City of Fairfax, Linn County, Iowa, is hereby
acknowledged and approved on the part of the City of Fairfax, Linn County, Iowa.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of Fairfax, Iowa, that the Mayor and the City
Clerk/Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to execute said Resolution.
