POWER WASH THE EXTERIOR OF THE WATER TOWER WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax has a 250,000 gallon water tower that needs to be cleaned; and WHEREAS, the has received two quotes for this work and found Central Tank Coatings, Inc. to be the lower quote; and WHEREAS, Kevin Stensland, the City's Water and Waste Water Superintendent, is recommending approval of the quote from Central Tank Coatings, Inc. for$7,200.00 and to enter into the attached contract for this work, providing Central Tank Coatings, Inc. supplies the necessary proof of insurance to work for the City of Fairfax. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, that the City of Fairfax enter into a contract to power wash the exterior of the water tank with Central Tank Coatings, Inc., providing Central Tank Coatings, Inc. supplies the necessary proof of insurance to work for the City of Fairfax.. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, that the Mayor and the City Clerk/Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to execute said Resolution.
