RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A QUOTE FROM KW ELECTRIC, INC.
FOR TRAIL LIGHTING
WHEREAS,the City of Fairfax has a walking trail that needs lighting; and
WHEREAS, the City has received a quote from KW Electric, Inc. that is the lowest
quote for $54,900.00; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wants to include the addition of outlets to each,pole for a
total additional amount of$1,100,00; and
WHEREAS, Joe Gross,Hall and Hall Engineers, Inc. is recommending approval of this
quote and additional work for a total of$56,000.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax,
Iowa, that the City of Fairfax accepts the quote from KW Electric, Inc. for the trail lighting for a
total of$56,000.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa,that the
Mayor and the City Clerk/Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to exec-ate said Resolution.
Passed and approved this 23d day of August, 2016.
Council Member Kell moved the adoption of the Resolution; seconded by Council Member Daly.
