RE SOLUTION SETTING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING
CONCEItNING ADOPTING AN UPDATED ZONING MAP AS PART OF THE
FAIRFAX ZONING CODE 2012 FOR THE CITY OF FAIRFAX
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax has a current Zoning Map which is part of the Fairfax
Zoning Code that has been approved by the Fairfax Planning and Zoning and the Fairfax City
Council; and
WHEREAS,the City of Fairfax asked Hall and Hall Engineers to update the Zoning Map;
and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning will be reviewing the updated Zoning Map di ring
their meeting on September 20, 2016; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax is required to hold a hearing concerning adopting an
updated Zoning Map, which is part of the Fairfax Zoning Code 2012; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the public hearing concerning adopting
an updated Zoning Map, as part of the Fairfax Zoning Code 2012 for the City of Fairfax, Iowa,
shall be held at the city council meeting on Tuesday, October 11„ 2016, at 6:00 PM at the Fairfax
City Hall at 300 80th Street Court.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, that
the Mayor and City Clerk/Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to execute said Resolution.
