RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CHANGE ORDER NO, 2 -BALANCING FROM
RATHJE CONSTRUCTION, CO. FOR THE 2016 80th STREET WATER MAIN
EXTENSION PROJECT IN THE CITY OF FAIRFAX,LINN COUNTY, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City Council of Fairfax, Iowa has contracted with Rathje
Construction Co. for the 2016 80th Street Water Main Extension Project within the
corporate limits; and
WHEREAS,Hall and Dail Engineers, Inc., has recommended approval of Change
Order##2 - Balancing as described below:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT REASOLV.ED, by the City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Iowa, to approve Change Order No. 2 - Balancing from Rathje Construction Co,
for the 2016 80th Street Water Main Extension Project for a decrease of$1,245.66 to the
original contract, making the revised final contract amount$338,524.34,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Fairfax City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Iowa, that the Mayor.and City Clerk/Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed
to execute said resolution.
