A RESOLUTION RENAMING SOUTHVIEW ROAD
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax has Southview Road; and
WHEREAS, Southview Road is both on the east and west side of Highway 151, Williams
Blvd; and
WHEREAS, addresses east of Highway 151 start at 200 thru 734; and
WHEREAS, addresses west of Highway 151 start at 407 thru 555; and
WHEREAS, confusion is created in current numbering system; and
WHEREAS, west of 151 Southview is currently named Southview Road; and
WHEREAS, east of 151 Southview is currently named East Southview Road; and
WHEREAS, signage currently reads Southview Road on both sides of 151.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax,
Iowa,that Southview Road west of Highway 151, Williams Blvd is from here forward named West
Southview Road.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk/Treasurer are hereby
authorized and directed to execute said resolution.
