A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE
PERSONNEL POLICY MANUAL AND JOB DESCRIPTIONS
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax, Iowa desires to have a personnel policy manual which
explains their current policies and procedures and job descriptions that accurately list position
responsibilities; and
WHEREAS,the City of Fairfax, Iowa,has made revisions and wishes to incorporate these
into the personnel policy and job descriptions; and
WHEREAS,the City of Fairfax's employees desire to have a personnel policy manual and
job descriptions to inform them of such policies, procedures, and job responsibilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax,
Fairfax, Iowa, that they adopt a revised personnel policy manual and job descriptions; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,by the Fairfax City Council of the City of Fairfax,Iowa,
that the City Clerk is directed to distribute this manual and job descriptions to all employees and
members of management and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to certify this
resolution of approval.
