HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTION NO. 2018-03 RESOLUTION NO. 2018-03 RESOLUTION APPROVING WAGES FOR CITY EMPLOYEES WHEREAS, during the January 9, 2018, city council meeting, the City Council reviewed non-library employee current wage rates and established the following wages effective January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2018; and WHEREAS, the Library Board of Trustees established wages for the 17-18 Fiscal Year for the library employees during their meeting on June 6, 2017, and made a 3.25% increase for all library employees effective as of July 1, 2017; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,the wages were set for each employee as follows: Kevin Stensland, W/WW Supervisor $36.08 per hour, effective January 1, 2018 Dave Yanecek, Public Works Il-All Support $27.99 per hour, effective January 1, 2018 Cynthia Stimson, City Clerk/Treasurer $27.13 per hour, effective January 1, 2018 Lynn Miller, Public Works Supervisor $26.47 per hour, effective January 1, 2018 Chris Philipp, Building Department Official $23.91 per hour, effective January 1, 2018 Brian Merta, Public Works II $22.78 per hour, effective January 1, 2018 Kathy Everett, Deputy City Clerk - Utilities $17.19 per hour, effective January 1, 2018 Kim Donaldson, Deputy City Clerk/Treasurer $16.40 per hour, effective January 1, 2018 Michael Rammelsberg, Public Works Il $15.38 per hour, effective January 1, 2018 William Barry, Part-time Seasonal $13.38 per hour, effective January 1, 2018 Cathy Bayne, Library Director $22.23 per hour, effective July 1, 2017 Beth Wilz, Librarian Assistant $15.88 per hour, effective July 1, 2017 Joel Barnhart, Librarian Assistant $14.29 per hour, effective July 1, 2017 Shannon Chapman, Library Janitor $13.23 per hour, effective July 1, 2017 Michael Sankot, Fire Chief $2,000 per year salary, plus $5.00 per call EMS Fire Department Officer $500.00 per year salary, plus $5.00 per call State Reporting Fire Department Officer $500.00 per year salary, plus $5.00 per call Other Fire Department Officers $100.00 per year salary, plus $5.00 per call Fire Department Members $5.00 per call BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the city staff is hereby authorized to issue payroll checks and make all required supporting payroll payments as required per the personnel manual or required by law. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, that the Mayor and City Clerk/Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to execute said Resolution.
