Home My WebLink AboutRESOLUTION NO. 2018-14 REVISED- RESOLUTION NO. 2018-14 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING COMMERCIAL INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR THE CITY OF FAIRFAX WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax needs to have commercial insurance coverage; and WHEREAS, the agency of Wilson Hite Insurance Incorporated has presented a renewal for the City of Fairfax's property, portable equipment, general liability, automobile, commercial umbrella, worker's compensation, and fire department PAK insurance, for a current quote of $57,626.00; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, that the City of Fairfax renews their commercial insurance coverages for: property,portable equipment, general liability, automobile, commercial umbrella, worker's compensation, and the fire department with Wilson Hite Insurance Incorporated, per the quote of$57,626.00, submitted on March 13, 2018. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, that the City of Fairfax requests an increase is policy coverage for the following areas: General City Liability increased to $5,000,000 Fire Department General Liability increased to $10,000,000 Fire Department Personal Liability increased to $5,000,000 Automobile Liability increased to $5,000,000 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Deputy City Clerk/Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to execute said resolution.
