RESOLUTION SETTING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING
CONCERNING AMENDING 2017 FAIRFAX ZONING CODE
FOR THE CITY OF FAIRFAX
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax is required to hold a hearing when amending the 2017
Fairfax Zoning Code.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the public hearing concerning amending
the 2017 Fairfax Zoning Code for the City of Fairfax,Iowa,shall be held at the city council meeting
on Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at 6:00 PM at the Fairfax City Hall at 300 80t" Street Court.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, that
the Mayor and City Clerk/Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to execute said Resolution.
Passed and approved this 10"' day of July, 2018.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Public notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, August 14, 2018, the City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Iowa, will hold a public hearing concerning amending the 2017 Fairfax Zoning Code for
the City of Fairfax, Iowa.
The purpose of this amendment is to establish Planned Development and District Overlay Zone
zoning districts.
Section 1.05 Rules and Definitions, Subsection B. Definitions is to be amended. Section 1.07.K
Planned Development and Section 1.07.Z District Overlay Zone are to be added.
Any person interested may appear at said hearing and be heard at the meeting of the City Council
to be held in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 300 80th Street Court, on the 14th day of
August, 2018, at 6:00 P.M
