HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTION NO. 75 RESOLUTION NO. 2018-75 A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE REVIEW FEES WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax, Iowa does incur engineering costs for preliminary plat reviews, final plat reviews, and site plan reviews; and WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax, Iowa, does want to share these costs with the submitter. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Fairfax, Iowa, that they adopt the following schedule of review fees to be paid at the time of submittal: Preliminary Plats Initial submittal fee of$150.00 plus $20.00 per lot Revised, second and third submittals are free Revised, fourth submittal fee of$300.00 plus $25.00 per lot Final Plats Initial submittal fee of$75.00 Revised, second and third submittals are free Revised, fourth submittal fee of$150.00 Site Plans Initial submittal fee of$75.00 Revised, second and third submittals are free Revised, fourth submittal fee of$150.00 For any additional submittals needed after four, the submitter shall be responsible for all engineering fees incurred by the by the City of Fairfax prior to City Council's acceptance. In the event that changes are required caused by an oversight, new information or error by city staff or city council, and not the developer or their representatives, then additional submittal fees will not be applied. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Fairfax City Council hereby instructs staff to collect fees prior to review and agenda scheduling for all submittals. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, any outstanding fees must be paid in full prior to preliminary plat,plan of public improvements,plat of survey, or final plat being placed on the City Council agenda for consideration. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,by the Fairfax City Council of the City of Fairfax,Iowa, that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to certify this resolution of approval.
