A RESOLUTION TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH MAGUIRE IRON, INC. FOR
WATER TOWER MAINTENANCE
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax desires to have our water tower regularly cleaned and
inspected; and
WHEREAS, Maguire Iron, Inc. has agreed to perform this water tower maintenance once
every two years, beginning in 2021, with a contract to run for a period of ten(10) years, for a sum
of$1,775.00 for each time this work is completed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Fairfax agrees to enter into
a contract with Maguire Iron, Inc. for water tower maintenance; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, that
the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to certify this resolution of approval and the Mayor
and City Clerk are authorized to sign the contract from Maguire Iron, Inc. for the water tower
maintenance.
