RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION TO THE IOWA FINANCE
AUTHORITY FOR A STATE REVOLVING FUND PLANNING AND DESIGN
LOAN FOR THE FINISHED WATER STORAGE PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax, Iowa has entered into an agreement with Hall and Hall Engineers,
Inc. for planning, design, bidding and construction engineering services for the new finished water storage
project in the City of Fairfax, and
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax, Iowa is applying to the Iowa Finance Authority for a $291,000.00
loan from the State Revolving Funds to help pay for the planning and design services for the new finished
water storage project in the City of Fairfax, and
WHEREAS, this loan for planning and design services shall be at 0% interest for up to 3 years, and
shall be rolled into the construction loan for the new finished water storage project in the City of Fairfax.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, that
the City of Fairfax, Iowa agrees to conform with the regulations, statutes, terms, and conditions described in
the application and instructions for this loan.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, that the Mayor
and the City Clerk/Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to execute said Resolution.
