RESOLUTION ADOPTING A FEE SCHEDULE FOR
DOG PARK SPECIAL EVENTS AND A SINGLE DAY
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax has established an Off-Leash Dog Park; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax has adopted an ordinance listing the rules of the
Fairfax Off-Leash Dog Park as part of the Fairfax Park Regulations; and
WHEREAS, the Fairfax Park Regulations states that all forms and fees for the
Fairfax Off-Leash Dog Park shall be approved and set by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Beautification Committee wishes to occasionally have
special events at the Fairfax Dog Park; and
WHEREAS,the Parks and Beautification Committee wishes to occasionally issue
a single day ID to try the park or for visitors; and
WHEREAS, the following shall be the fees associated with special events and a
single day at the Fairfax Off-Leash Dog Park:
A Special Event and Single Day Fairfax Dog Park ID:
Per Day
$5.00 per dog with a signed liability waiver and proof of current
vaccinations
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Fairfax City Council does
hereby approve the fees associated with a special event at the Fairfax Off-Leash Dog Park.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the City Clerk/Treasurer are
hereby authorized and directed to execute said resolution.
