A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS FOR
CORRECTIONS NEEDED AS OF JUNE 309 2019
WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Fairfax,Iowa,made numerous debt payments
on June 1, 2019; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, authorized transfers for these
payments in May, 2019; and
WHEREAS, the city clerk/treasurer has calculated corrections needed to the fund transfer
totals as of June 30, 2019 as follows:
Section 1. The following lines were listed in error on RESOLUTION 2019-32 in May 2019:
a. From Water Fund to Water Debt Service: 18,405.69
b. From the Sewer Bond Retire Fund to Debt Service Fund: 50,161.92
c. From Sewer Fund to Debt Service Fund: 11,000.00
79,567.61
Section 2. The following are how these lines should have read. Correction are needed to be posted
in fiscal year 2019.
a. From Water Fund to Debt Service: 9,580.09
b. From Water Fund to Water Debt Service: 8,825.60
c. From the Sewer Bond Retire Fund no transfer needed: 0.00
d. From Sewer Fund to Sewer Debt Service Fund: 11,000.00
29,405.69
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax,
Iowa, that the city clerk/treasurer is directed to make these recommended corrections to the
transfers in fiscal year 2019.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk/Treasurer are hereby
authorized and directed to execute said resolution.
