RESOLUTION SETTING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING
CONCERNING ADOPTING AN UPDATED FUTURE LAND USE MAP AS PART OF
THE FAIRFAX COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR THE CITY OF FAIRFAX
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax has a current Future Land Use Map which is part of the
Fairfax Comprehensive Plan that has been approved by the Fairfax Planning and Zoning and the
Fairfax City Council; and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning will be discussing reviewing the Future Land Use
Map at their next meeting on October 15, 2019, and may have a recommendation concerning an
update to the Future Land use Map; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax is required to hold a hearing concerning adopting an
updated Future Land Use Map, which is part of the Fairfax Comprehensive Plan; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the public hearing concerning adopting
an updated Future Land Use Map, as part of the Fairfax Comprehensive Plan for the City of
Fairfax, Iowa, shall be held at the city council meeting on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at 6:00
PM at the Fairfax City Hall at 300 80th Street Court, in Fairfax.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, that
the Mayor and City Clerk/Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to execute said Resolution.
